AKC Standard for Breeds
The AKC standard for every dog breed starts from the Parent Club. This club is recognised by the AKC national club devoted to each breed. Working Dogs
Working Dogs are dogs that love to be active and they are happy when they are assigned a job to do. They have different characteristics though as they could be Sled dogs, Guard Dogs, Giant dogs and runners.
The main characteristics are stated below:
- They are mainly on guard jobs (human and cattle protection).
- This breed is used for sledging in snowy areas.
